Mary Susan Ellis, daughter of Jesse Ellis and Rebecca Williams, married Fountain Piercey with whom she had six children. Fountain Piercey died in 1851 when the youngest was only four years old. She then married James Bell.  The Piercey children who married and their known spouses were:
