June 26-29 of 2002, the Williams Family Reunion was held at the Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park. The reunion committee consisted of Lynda Rangeley, Rae Ann Hopkins Berry, Bonnie Parker, Larry Bell, Jack Leflar and Carla Smith with Chuck Workman as consultant in various ways for the group. The group was unique in that everyone had their special contribution to the project to make the total event a success.
Family came from all over the United States. It didn't take long for folks to get comfortable with each other and enjoy their time together and the offerings of the area. (Hopefully, you all had as much fun as it looked like you were having. Larry's video camera surely recorded a great deal of laughter!)
This page will be your place to start to see the pages specifically connected with this event. Although photos were taken especially for the website, several others had their cameras at this event. If you have photos that you would be willing to share on this site from this event, please submit them. Jeremy gets the prize for being the first to do so. You will find his photos of some of these events on these pages already. Pages are planned for the reception, presentations, tours/outings, dinner at Mike's Landing, a scrapbook and the last photo together. Any of your photos would probably fit on at least one of these catagories. For those in the know for places such as the Hopkins School or other points of interest that were visited and would write a short history on one of those, that would be a wonderful addition to the brief notes that will be on these types of pages.
