Mad Jackal
The Pirate
Prologue - By Preacher
T
here are hero's, and there are villains. Then there are the
villains who do heroic deeds. "Mad" Jackal the Pirate earned his name well
as one of the latter. A bastard to the core, he steals indiscriminately from
rich and poor alike.
His own personal contribution to the Orc attacks in Vesper, was to
help warriors battle by lightening their loads. But feeling like this gave
the warriors an unfair advantage, he took what he could from the orcs.
In his time he has helped many with acts of extreme kindness, but
this is usually balanced with acts of deceit and crime.
Jackal is just as happy to steal from friends as he is strangers. He
is untrustworthy by all, and would gladly stab any back if there was
something in it for him.
I can quite imagine this man sending someone off to commit
murder...just so he could claim the reward when he takes this someone's
head.
There are feelings there. There is a love of sorts. But no one gets
between Jackal and his gold. Never turn your back on him, unless you are
certain you have nothing he wants.
