The intersection of Walnut and S. River in Independence, Missouri is an interesting one. Three churches claiming to have the gospel of Jesus Christ, restored by Joseph Smith occupy a building on all four corners.
The SE corner has a Mormon visitor's center. This was like all the others I've visited, some historical artifacts, paintings and a friendly tour guide to answer all of your questions. You can find basically the same thing in any major city.
On the SW corner is the World Headquarters of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS).
Another group occupies the NW corner of Walnut and S. River, the Church of Christ (Temple Lot.) They could be called the fundamentalists of the LDS faith.
A table showing the differences between the three.
