Do you enjoy Games Workshop’s WarHammer? D&D? Ever wish you could do those things for real? Then Dagorhir is for you! In Dagorhir, you become a warrior on the field of battle. You can arm yourself in real armor, carry a shield, and crush your enemies with swords, spears, axes, and even bows and arrows. All weapons are made of foam and are very safe. The best part is that when you die, you can get up and do it all over again. Local battles often have over 100 participants. National events have over 400. I will be organizing meetings in the area to demonstrate some basics of the game, give costuming and weapon construction tips, and hopefully create at least one new fighting unit.
