5 July 2004 I have a friend who has a so-called-elegant solution to the Four-Color Problem. Having left mathematic academia some years ago, he is in somewhat of a vulnerable position insofar as consolidating credit for the solution, if and when it is adjudicated as valid by peer review. He is looking for someone capable of mentoring him in the process of having the proof accredited and reviewed.
