The Kawangi Quest



Once in a while, every few games, you will encounter a horrible series of events caused by the Kawangi!
The Yelow Kawangi travel from start system to the next, leaving nothing but a trail of devastated systems behind.

Once you've located it on the map, you'll see it either like shown above, or like this:

If you dont see it on the map, wait for it in the star to which you think it'll go next... stand and fight :)
But whatever you do, dont taker your time, because if you see this message, you're too late...



How to win:

Allies wont help you much in this one, its all up to you :)

The only ally that can be of use is the Zorg Pilot with which you can just spin around the Kawangi and draw the Nova Cannon fire... but if you get too close, the Graviton Disintergator will disintegrate you in one shot :)

The Zorg Pilot is only recommended to people with fast insticts that can control 2 ships without loosing one of them, because if you use the Zorg Pilot to draw fire and meanwhile get close with your ship and fire a strong medium range weapon, but your Zorg Pilot suddenly dies, you're history :)

Now for the better ways...
You have to have a v.good-best thruster.
The point is that the Kawangi has the Nova Cannon.
The Nova Cannon will probebly kill you on the first hit... but its a slow weapon and isnt self guided, therefor can be avoided by a fast ship.
You avoid, and strike, again and again...
If you want to cause any damage other than shield damage, you have to have 2 long ranged missle weapons.

The best long ranged wepon you can have, is the Nova Cannon itself ofcourse :)
The Yellow Kawangi is slow, and cannot avoid the cannon.
How to get the cannon? you figure this out yourself :)
The nova cannon isnt a must though, you can mannage without it.

The easy ways:
Get the Chromium Gong and use it... that was easy wasn't it? :)
Another way is to leave him a little gift in the next system its about to reach... a very special gift called Limited Vacuum Collapser :) just remember to run for your life.
