The Dreamer's Guild Lives On! in the form of Wyrmkeep Entertainment :-)

Great news indeed! Wyrmkeep include no less than 9 of the old Guild employees/contractors: Joe Pearce, Allison Hershey, Ed Lacabanne, Michal Todorovic, Lisa Sample, Carolly Hauksdottir, Matt Nathan, Bradley W. Schenck and Ken Yeast.

Wyrmkeep have already remade and released one of the better Dreamer's Guild games, Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb, a game which I have always loved and adored. Official Site, ITE Soundtrack

We wish them all the best of luck and success, and encourage a remake of FTA2 followed by a sequel! :-)

The Dreamer's Guild was formed in 1991, by a group of people with vision, people who wanted to make a change in the gaming industry, therefor the consept of Dreamers.

Joe Pearce, one of the founders of the company: "In 1991 me and some friends formed a company named The Dreamers Guild. Our hope was to create a new kind of computer game company -- one where the employees would have a say in the evolution of the company. Unfortunately, the company was not a financial success, but still it was a worthy attempt."
