History
The Original First Friday of Detroit was established in 1992 and held its first function in October 1993. We offer an opportunity for young, old, single and married professionals to mingle on a consistent basis (at least once a month). This medium provides not only a social outlet, but an avenue to conduct valuable networking resulting in an exchange of ideas, information and resources. First Friday of Detroit expands the term "professional" to include the doctor and the dry cleaner. Minority professionals are always encouraged to attend.
