is not present in any educational institution that receives federal
funds from US Department of Education. Discrimination is prohibited
on the basis of race, color and national origin (Civil Rights Act
of 1964, Title VI), sex (Education Amendments of 1972, Title X), disability
(Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973) and age (Age Deiscrimination
Act of 1975). If you are a victim of discrimination for any of the
4 reasons stated above, you can file a civil rights discrimination
complaint at your local Office for Civil Rights. |
