JCFicHaven Decathlon
Annual Dates - Entries in November, Voting in December & January

This contest has an international flavor that will appeal to authors and readers alike. The Decathlon is aptly named for it has ten categories or events representing the ten events that comprise the modern Olympics Decathlon. Each event is hosted by a member of Voyager's crew. Authors will enter at least 8 - 10 categories.
The best stories in each event will receive awards. Medals will be awarded to the authors with the best performance in all events. We've also added a Writer's Choice award. We'll be explaining that in more detail later. The actual number of awards and medals will be based on the number of entrants.

Ripples
in the Pond - an AU Contest

If you toss a pebble into a pond, the ripples go on and on. If you take a point in time, and change one thing, what would happen? What ripples would it cause?
Mixed Doubles

Write a story with more than one m/f pairing. The crew of Voyager has more than one possible romantic couple. Your story needs to include at least two, separate, couples. You're not required to write my favorite pairings - such as J/C, K/7, P/T, J/P, C/T(Torres), Neelix/Klingon Babe, etc... but please no C/7 or Emh/7. ;-)

OK, so it's not a contest, so what! Come test your wagering skills against your friends. And where do you get your replicator rations to wager? Well that's between the Captain and you. I don't get involved in that end of the business. I just take the cut for the house. - Tom

"Dakota's Final Frontier Contest"
Final Frontier is a contest for new stories. Pick a title or theme and see what you can write. If enough 'new' authors enter, they will be in a separate voting category from 'old' authors. Now is your chance to give a lot of people a chance to read your literary masterpieces.
"Eclipse Design Awards"
This one's a chance for you to show off your web design skills. Designing and maintaining a website is a lot of work, and there's more to it than just slapping together some HTML. It's time that hard work is recognized.

The Purple Comet
The Purple Comet is a bi-monthly J/C fanfic contest. Each month, a certain category will be open for submission.
